Cooking up a treat

Here are some photographs of Liquid enjoying a fun-filled cookery experience as part of a team-building evening! Held at a gorgeous kitchen at ‘Venturi’s Table’ in Wandsworth, we were taught how to make authentic Italian food. We then dined together and proudly enjoyed our delicious culinary creations. A special well done to Rick and Ben who were each awarded a chef’s hat for demonstrating a great level of enthusiasm throughout the class!

You don’t have to be crazy…

The Crazy Bear hotel in Oxford was the venue for our annual end-of-year review event with two days of fun and frolics. The über-cool venue complimented the main review discussion topics of ‘brave, creative and driven by detail’.

The final soiree was to the clay pigeon shooting range where the ‘Sniper Squirrels’ were outgunned by the ‘3 skeets’.

Racing finish

Our end of year was celebrated with a racing theme.

After thrashing it out on the Daytona go-kart track at Sandown in Surrey, we spent the afternoon nursing our bruises and reviewing the successes of the past year and future aspirations at a much more leisurely pace. Then it was back to Sandown for evening races and the discovery that liking the colour of the jockey kit or the nationality of the horse was not quite enough to win on the Tote.

For our first birthday, 40 clients joined us for fun drinks, frolics and fashion faux pas the 2004 Henley Royal Regatta. Click on the tag for the results of the ’I wouldn’t be seen dead in that’ challenge.

The Liquid end of year one was celebrated with a liquid lunch, dinner and breakfast in Brighton – home of stripy rock and one and a half piers.

Based at the imaginatively styled Hotel Pelirocco, we spent time reviewing the successes of the past year and discussing the aspirations for the next seven. Then the boys hit the town and the girls hit the spa. A great day, rounded off nicely by dinner at the
